Empowering preteens and parents with the wisdom of menstrual cycles through education, connection, and care.
At Wise Gal Period Mentor, we believe periods are a source of power, not pain or shame. Our workshops and resources guide preteens, teens, and parents to cultivate body literacy, confidence, and respect for their natural rhythms.
By teaching cycle awareness and self-care through our inner seasons as vital life skills, we’re creating a ripple effect of empowerment, that spans generations.
Gather your community: whether a small group of friends and family, or a youth group, troop, or class cohort. Julia will travel to you and facilitate this learning experience.
Together, let’s break the stigma, nurture self-awareness, and embrace menstruation as a beautiful part of life’s flow.

PERIOD POSITIVITY WORKSHOP
“This class provided information to my daughter that she doesn't seem to want me to talk to her about right now. It provided many ways to think about menstruation that are not the one limited way I grew up with. And it provided fun around the topic whereas there usually seems to be worry and stress about it.”
Your Cycle, Your Superpower 💖
Knowledge is Empowerment
Understanding the menstrual cycle is about biology yes, but also about building confidence. Our workshop equips both caregivers and kiddos with clear, accessible information about periods, demystifying the process and removing fear or shame. When you know what to expect, you can approach this stage with calm assurance.
A Positive, Empowering Mindset
We believe periods are a sign of health, strength, and growth. By shifting the narrative from fear or embarrassment to one of celebration and empowerment, our workshop helps parents and children embrace this natural phase of life with pride and positivity.
Open and Honest Conversations
Talking about periods shouldn't feel awkward or taboo. We provide tools and conversation starters that help parents and children communicate openly and comfortably. These discussions foster trust, break down stigma, and create a supportive family environment.
Practical Preparation
From choosing the right period products to managing periods at school or during activities, we offer practical tips and solutions. Parents and children leave with actionable knowledge to handle real-life scenarios with ease and confidence.
Emotional Well-being
Puberty brings physical and emotional changes. Our workshop addresses both, offering strategies to help children navigate mood swings, self-esteem challenges, and body image concerns. Parents gain insight into how to provide emotional support without feeling lost or overwhelmed.

“This is the kind of support our children need. Things that spark interest, curiosity, conversation, that aren't necessarily top down with information.”
